This method work in case(s):
1. Stuck on Mi logo and doesn't go anywhere
2. Can't boot to Recovery mode (think it's damaged)
Preparations are in the image below

Remember that this actual rom was downloaded to my pc with different file extention, it was in .tar file.
Double check when it has downloaded. if its'n a .tgz file you won't run any flashing.
To solve it is very easily, change the file .tar extention into file .tgz by rename it ofcourse.
Right click rom name and chose to rename. Change only last alphabets of .tar to .tgz then extract it so it will work to MiFlash Tool. Do not change the name of extracted folder.
First of all most important is to install MiFlash with all the driver if you haven't before. Forget it if you have.
Now the PROCESS
1. Turn off the device ( if its can't, remove the battery cover and pull off battery connector from mainboard)
2. Put it into DOWNLOAD MODE (edl mode). Hold VOLUME DOWN and POWER BUTTON then release 'em when show FASTBOOT on screen.
3. Open EDL tool folder and do double click on RedMi Note 4 & 4X EDL Mode.bat and hit ENTER. It will send device into edl mode WITHOUT ANY BOOTLOADER UNLOCKING. Thank to the builder for this NICE TOOL.
Don't worry when screen goes dark 'cause it's in edl mode
4. See on DEVICE MANAGER to see Port COm there must be a Qualcomm Q-Downloader and it's the way you need.
4. Time to run MiFlash tool.
5. Doing Flashing
Close all if message gone SUCCESS
Normally device will auto reboot after flashing finished. If it doesn't again pull off battery connector out of mainboard then put back again and turn on the device. It will take little longer to boot into a normal. Just wait all finished.
Brand new redmi 4 prime now is back, with still untouched the locked bootloader.
