BBM For BlackBerry 9790 [ standalone install ]

Today i am handle a customer's BlackBerry 9790 device in my hand. My customer need help to bring back his device 'cause it's get 4 times red led blinking.
He asked me to install also BlackBerry Messenger on it. I think it was only able to install using App World, but i'm wrong.
My customer said that he can't runs BBM on his device before it getting trouble because it wasn't include in this device. Yes he's right.
After repair the primary problem by re-flashing this device, then i am trying to install BBM on the device.
Hopefully it may helps fellow whose facing same problem with BBM in the same BlackBery device or different.
Remember!! i have flashed the devive using PBr7.1.0_rel2105_PL9.16.0.159_A7.1.0.746 for Telkomsel Vendor INDONESIA.

Prepare these to perform install BBM app, here i give the link to download.

1. BBSAK BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife:
    HOME
    MIRROR

2. BlacBerry Messenger App Files for Flash:
    LINK

STEPS:

1. Turn ON the device, connect it by USB connection to your PC
2. Extract Both files have downloaded, place 'em to the desktop for more convenient.
3. You'll have BBM folder and BBSAK installer, run BBSAK installer to install it.
4. Check your BBM folder, there  should be bbm.jad alongside with files.cod

5. Turn ON your Device, connect it to your pc using USB connection.
6. Run BBSAK, it will caught your device by showing BB pin, that mean your device connected.

7. On BBSAK tab Modify CODs.
8. Next hit Install JAD, and OK if you found bbm.jad in the extracted bbm folder.

9. Browse your BBM folder to choose bbm.jad, the others file COD will dissapear. Nothing to worry.
10. Hit Open then BBSAK will doing it's job for few moments.

11. Then BBSAK will announce it's finished. Hit OK and close BBSAK.

12. See your device, if it is go to rebooting that mean it's work. And disconnect from pc.  Other you failed.
Don't worry if your device rebooting 2 times, just waiting.
13. Now check BBM app in your device menu. You should found it after your device reboot.

14. That's all we need.

Can't copy old backup files to a new folder on windows 8.1 resolved

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WR WB

In case of  backup necessary file(s) before changing my operating system, now i am facing a new trouble. I never could copy my old backup file(s) to a specific folder i want. I have new windows 8.1 installed on my old lappie.

This is an example maybe happening to you also. In my case i have lots of BlackBarry backup files on my old OS. But when i need one of these, i can't copy the file to the right place as BlackBerry Desktop Manager saving 'em all. Always show to me a pop-up say You don't have permission..or something like that. Event when i'm logging as administrator ( infact i'm this pc admin ) it still goes wrong. 

I've tried UNLOCKER a slim application that can do copy and event moving the files i want. But it doesn't resolving any trouble, the file has copied or moved to the correct backup folder. But on the BlackBerry Desktop Manager it's completely becomes very stupid and so silly. Because it's can see the file in his backup folder. 

Then i trying to resolved it by my self. Could help people too who has same trouble like mine. What is the first i knew the trouble is really simple.

It caused that i have different user name (admin) in my new OS. The old named HANNY-FAI but the new in new OS is Hanny FITRI. I thought it's my problem. And i wasn't wrong. Then i made a user names notice to prevent me doing wrong user name on typing.

NOTE: I have made changed to my user Document so it has moved to D:\ cause i don't want to loose anything in the Document if there is something wrong to %windows%.

This what i'm doing to robe my admin right.

1. Go to the folder containing files i need. Right clickin' my file.

2. And i choose Properties, and on the next window i'm doing to the Security tab. And Edit it.

3. On the next window i Remove this useless user permission owner's. Before doing this think twice, i don't have responsibility for future trouble, event it really helpful to me.

4. Then i typed my new current correct user name on Enter the object names field. Then doing Check Names.

5. Then i said OK

6. On the next window on the Permission for Hanny FITRI field i thick on Allow Full control, and the other do following automatically. Then Apply and OK.

7. The last step is to closing my old backup contain folder and re-open again to try to copy whatever i need to the new default backup folder. I paste it without any warned anymore. And so the BlackBerry Desktop Manager could read 'em out without any silly  action.

8. Now i can put 'em back to the handheld completely.

Before to the explanation, first i want to say greet to the MOSLEMS all around the world whose doing Fasting in this Rammadhan. Allah Blessing YOU.

This steps could perform for both troubles resolving way.

1. Install BlackBerry Desktop Software.

2. Install latest OS version for BlackBerry Curve 9300, remove VENDOR.XML from C:\Program Files\common files\Research In Motion\AppLoader folder.

3. Restart PC.

4. Attach USB cable to device and PC with no battery mode.

5. By default Desktop Software will run which is a device connected to PC.

6. Desktop Software will find your device but it can't build communication to the device. Stay with no battery mode on device.

 7. Click Update on the new window, because the device has lost the needed files to work fine. Remember there will be nothing can be backup from the device. So on the next window click Get update.

8. Next window warn you what should to do during 'Flashing' then just say Install update and OK.

 9. Stay with no battery mode and let some files to install.

10. Installation will stop for a while when in connecting to JVM. This the time to attach the battery to the device. At least you have 35% charged battery. So it will start again.

11. When see this on Desktop Software that mean 'Flashing' finish and wait the device boot up.

12. Say Close when this window showing up.

13. Now you can pass this step or choose blue light option to see if the Desktop Software finally recognizing your device.

 14. Now your device is on the Desktop Software, all the tasks will light. It means your device is cured.

15. CONGRATULATION !!!!!!!!

Solusi Restart pada BlackBerry

      Semakin bertambah usia pakai suatu perangkat berbasis elektronika maka akan muncul pula beberapa masalah yang menyertainya, jangankan yang dicipta manusia yang dicipta oleh yang Maha Kuasa aja kalo masa pake nya sudah mencapai 50th potensio meter nya kadang bunyinya groog...groog...udah gitu ditambah gelombangnnya ...ngngiiiiikk....ngngiiiiiikk.....iya apa iya hayoo hee..hee...heeeeee......

      Sama halnya dengan peralatan komunikasi dan multimedia lainnya, BlackBerry yang super heboh karna gaya latah dan konsumerisme masyarakat indonesia akan sesuatu yang merebak di negerinya tukang sate bernama Obama itu lambat laun pasti akan timbul masalah karena banyak faktor yang menyebabkan nya. Namun kali ini kita tidak akan membahas penyebab-penyebab tersebut soalnya lama dan panjang sebab kebanyakan minum obat kuat ....heee....heee...heee.....
Kita hanya akan membahas cara mengatasi salah satu masalah yang ada, dan kebetulan kali ini yang kita akan bahas mengenai bagaimana mengatasi masalah RESTART BB yang tak kunjung sembuh setelah ditempuh berbagai cara manual untuk membuatnya normal kembali.

      Lalu apa sajakah peralatan yang akan kita gunakan untuk memperbaiki BB tersebut, ahh gampang semua itu bisa di download gratis dari situs resminya BB RIM. Download satu persatu dengan penuh kesabaran dan sebelum download saya anjurkan panjenengan semua untuk download Internet Download Manager (IDM) yang versi gratis atau trial aja untuk dipakai sementara buat ndonlot file software tersebut. Karna kalo gak pake IDM panjenengan bisa ketiduran, atau panjenengan mau coba mesin khusus buat browsing yang punya download manager terintegrasi dan super cepat kalo buat ndonlot, kalo mau besok tak uploadkan filenya dan silakan klik langsung link download nya dari postingannya. Yuk kita balik kemasalah utamanya soalnya udah ngantuk niiih...
Alat/software yang kita butuhkan adalah:

   1. Download dulu OS nya yang versinya lebih diatas dari yang sedang di perbaiki. Cara mengetahui versinya tekan "Alt+Shift+h". misalkan versinya adalah v1.0 maka cari yang diatas itu misal v1.1 atau v1.2 atau yang lebih tinggi dan lebih baru, begitu kata temen e mas dedi E yang bahasa inggris nya jago banget itu.
   2. Install BB Deskpro Manager 5.0.9.3 kemudian jalankan dengan klik ganda icon nya. Ingat!!! sebelum melakukan apapun dan dengan software apapun pasang terlebih dahulu BB nya ke compu dengan kabel USB nya. Di Deskpro yang saya pake bahasanya sudah saya sett ke Indonesia, perhatikan pertama kali terbuka software Deskpro Manager (DM) akan mencari device BB nya, perhatikan hasilnya pada tulisan "perangkat terhubung (PIN):tidak ada" ini menandakan BB tidak terdeteksi oleh compu. Jadi cek ulang BB Modem USB Driver nya sudah terinstal apa belum.
      Selanjutnya pada Menu utama DM silakan panjenengan klik dulu " Cadangkan dan kembalikan/Backup and restore" untuk membackup seluruh data BB tersebut, ini adalah langkah awal yang sangat penting dan menentukan di akhir proses penutupan nanti. Jadi jangan sampai terlewatkan proses ini.
    3. Kemudian dari hasil download file OS nya tadi silakan dihapus tanpa bertanya dan rasa ragu file "Vendor.xml" nya cari file ini di C:\program files\common files\Research In Motion\App loader, bila tidak ditemukan maka klik tab tool> pilih folder option> View> beri tanda pada Show hidden...namun jika di unhide belum juga muncul berarti panjenengan lupa nginstalnya lebih dulu hee...heee...heee.....
    4. Software JL_Cmder.
Disini tak kasih terjemahan cara menjalankan JL_Cmder ini yang dikasih sama temen nya Mas Dedi E dari judul aslinya " How To Wipe With JL_Cmder" berikut adalah langkah-langkahnya:

      ~ Setelah proses backup di atas selesai tutup dulu program DM nya. Sebab sekarang kita ganti acara ke         JL_Cmder
      ~ Klik ganda icon JL_Cmder untuk memulai proses, perhatikan koneksi BB dengan compu jangan sampai medhot atau putus alias gak konek.
      ~ Kemudian akan muncul tampilan yang pertama, tekan tombol mana saja untuk melanjutkan proses kata orangnya "Press any key"
      ~ Kemudian akan muncul tampilan baru yang menanyakan apakah BB kita ada memakai password bila ada tekan "Y" lalu masukkan passwordnya, bila tidak tekan saja tombol "N"
     ~ Setelah itu muncul lagi tampilan baru lagi,langsung tekan saja tombol angka "4" untuk menuju proses yang dinamakan "WIPE atau ERASE".
     ~ Pada jendela  berikutnya tekan saja "Y"untuk melanjutkan proses Wipe.
     ~ Selanjutnya pada jendela selanjutnya yang muncul ketikkan "blackberry" untuk melanjutkan proses.
     ~ Setelah itu munculah layar putih dengan pesan ERROR '507', tapi jangan kuatir ini adalah efek hasil dari proses WIPE tadi.
     ~ Tutup program JL_Cmder kemudian ganti dengan membuka kembali program DM seprti yang pertama kali.
     ~ Setelah program DM terbuka pada menu nya pilih/klik " Application loader" tungggu proses nya berjalan sampai selesai dan ini memakan waktu yang cukup lama antara 15 menit sampai 30 menit sampai BB reboot kembali. Perhatian!!! " JANGAN LEPAS BB DARI COMPU SEBELUM MUNCUL PESAN PADA APPLICATION LOADER SCREEN YANG BERTULISKAN >>THE LOADING OPERATION WAS SUCCESSFUL!!". Ingat sampai pesan ini muncul pekerjaan belum 100% selesai masih ada langkah terakhir sebagai tahap finishing.
      ~ Kembalikan lagi ke menu utama DM, setelah itu pilih "Backup and Restore" dan restore kembali file hasil backup kita pada langkah yang pertama kali tadi yang saya bilang sangat penting tersebut. Sebelum kita menjalankan program JL_Cmder tadi. Setelah selesai proses restore maka selesai pula pekerjaan kita menyembuhkan restart pada BB dengan Wipe menggunakan JL_Cmder. Bila kita ikuti langkah-langkahnya dengan benar insya allaah tidak akan menemui kendala. SEMOGA BERMANFAAT
