NOKIA E5-00 Dead Phone Flashing via MXKey

Step by step how to flashing nokia E5-00 dead phone using MXKey dongle and USB cable only

1. Open MXKey, full charged battery, USB cable CA-101

2. Set interface to NOKIA USB ROM then Connect

3. Click Bus Check, connect USB then insert battery to phone

4. Before starting to flash the phone, save some important phone's data.

5. Tab Service, at the first try to fix phone problem do an easy step to reset the phone by checking some items on Factory Value Reset then click Reset Selected. Sometimes this fix the phone.

6. Next go to IMEI & Security > IMEI Rebuild on the left pane then you can backup IMEI number by clickin' Read IMEI. And save the RPL for service stock

7. Next don't forget to read and save PM file. Some troubles can be detected by this process. On PM perform  Read PM

8. If the trouble couldn't fixed by the easy step above, then you need to do flashing the whole firmware to the phone. Choose correct firmware for each item

9. When you do believe nothing wrong to the firmwares now you can click Flash to start flashing the phone

10. After all has completed disconnect USB, pull out the battery for seconds. Then insert all needed by the phone to normally operation and turn on the phone

NOKIA E5-00 No Display And Vibrate Only

Preparation :

- CA-101 USB Cable

- MXKey Dongle

- E5-00 Firmware

- Your Dead Phone

Steps :

1. Run mobilEx, choose Nokia USB ROM on connection.

2. Plug USB cable to PC

3. On Nokia Service Tool, leave all fields empty first. Copy Nokia E5-00 RM-632 firmware to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Product. Or where the place you've sett on MXKey firmware path folder.

4. On Flash menu hit BUS Check, insert battery to phone then USB.

5. Next tab Service, hit IMEI & Security, on Imei Rebuild do Read Imei and save RPL for backup

6. Back to Flash menu, fill all fimware fields needed to perform flashing the phone

7. Check all files for may wrong firmware on the wrong field, if everything is good then hit Flash and wait for completion.

8. The last is back to tab Service, on Action see the Factory Values Reset. You can perform Reset All or just check marked for some items to reset then Reset Selected. Now perform finishing process. Hit Disconnect after all.

Full Flashing Nokia 5730S via MXKey v3.5 Rev2.6

Before doing full flashing on each phone generation of NOKIA we need to do some important steps at first. At least we've backup the original phone data, so when comes any trouble after flash we have the medicine to make it back to the condition. Lately i really don't want to buy a new F-bus flash cable anymore, because it will useless by time. So what we need is only a compatible USB cable. Now let's do it

Open mobilEx v3.5 rev2.6, chose Nokia USB ROM for connection. Press Connect then chose Nokia Service Tool.

If you have made correct setting on MXKey Settings for product path, you can put your phone firmware folder into it.

And it will automatically added to the Files setting when Browse button pressed.

After all files added press Bus Check. If you have error in connection you can try my method:

First before Clicking Bus Check do not plug the USB cable to phone. Remove Battery from phone, make sure battery charged.

After click Bus Check see to mobilEx log, there will be a message 'Waiting Nokia USB ROM device..' this is the time to plug the USB cable to the phone, and then insert battery to phone. Now MXKey should detect the device. Reply again if doesn't work. In error making configuration of mobilEx and phone continuously it could be a hardware problem to the phone. You can check VIO on the machine.

If there is nothing problem to configuration phone and mobilEx, now we can do more further steps.

On the establish connection we can see to the log of phone software specifications readout. Be careful to the message comes on the log because it will warn you when a job is too risk to do. for example see one of the message as below 

Now tab Service before doing full flash. you can get everything important about the phone there. You can perform Test the phone, backup phone PM data and so the most important is backing up the .ask or .rpl if it support. If you can't backup .rpl you can only backup .ask then you can calc the .ask to .rpl using UFS Tornado.

You better to backup the important data from the phone on the next step

If you want to check out the hardware trouble to phone you can go to Phone Test

Go to IMEI & Security for solved some problems list there. If you want reset user code you can do there.

Read simlock status on phone

Backup .ask or .rpl

If want to repair .rpl or unlock the phone go Online Logger

If only want to perform full flash now its the time, cause every important data have backed up

back to tab Flash and press Flash button

Wait untill finish flashing process then tab Service back, read Phone info and press Reset All

Say YES to the warning

All done and safely disconnect pull out USB cable and phone battery

Menghilangkan Pesan Nokia-Tool Configration MXKey

Sebuah pengalaman lama yg cukup memalukan, ya ini saya dapat ketika pertama kali menggunakan MXKey. Karena masih bodo namun sekarang sudah blo'on jadinya ya gitu deeh. he..3x
Begini ceritanya, setiap kali saya menjalankan mobileEx dan memilih Nokia Service Tool selalu muncul jendela Nokia Tool-Configuration. Karena tidak tahu penyebabnya ya cukup saya OK saja, toh akhirnya akan menutup sendiri. Tapi lama-lama cukup menggugah keinginan untuk menhilangkannya, satu kendala pada saat itu adalah MXKey tidak disertai User's Manual penggunaan. Ditambah lagi saat itu saya belum mampu berlangganan internet seperti saat ini. Jadi sangat sulit untuk memperoleh jawaban.
Namun segala kesulitan pasti dibuatkan pula jalan keluarnya. " Walaupun para teknisi senior amat sangat PELIIT untuk memberi solusi " akhirnya ketemu juga jalan keluarnya. Dari pengalaman tersebut saya ingin membaginya kepada rekan-rekan yang mungkin mengalami hal yang sama dengan yang saya alami ini. Berikut ini solusinya yang tidak perlu anda " beli " informasinya dari saya.

Pada saat menjalankan mobileEx dan anda pilih Nokia Service Tool maka anda akan menjumpai jendela Nokia Tool-Configuration.sebagai berikut.

Jendela semacam ini bisa anda hilangkan cukup hanya dengan meng-klik tombol OK nya saja

Namun pada saat berikutnya ketika anda dobel click kotak firmware anda akan melakukan beberapa kali klik untuk mencari firmware yang anda inginkan. Nah dari klak-klik yang menjemukan inilah akhirnya saya menemukan jawaban sederhananya. Setelah saya amati beberapa saat ketika menggunakan kembali mobileEx dan muncul jendela Nokia Tool-Configuration akhirnya ketemu jawaban mengapa jendela ini selalu muncul. Jendela ini muncul ternyata karena memerlukan setting Firmware Path agar dia tidak bingung pada saat kita klik Bus Check. Tugas kita adalah memasukkan Firmware Path pada kotak yang masih kosong tersebut agar mobileEx tahu arah kemana ia akan pergi berbelanja he...3x

Klik tombol Add dan masukkan Directory yang benar. Lihat gambar berikut

Mengapa saya memasukkan dua direktori di dalamnya ? karena pada folder firmware default Nokia di C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Product, saya hanya melakukan copy paste folder firmware ponsel yang sedang saya perbaiki. Kemudian akan saya hapus kembali setelah selesai untuk menjaga dirve C: saya tidak dipenuhi oleh file yang bukan merupakan sebuah file system/program. Sedangkan direktori kedua D:\Program Files\Sarassoft\UFS\UFS_DCTxBB5\Product, merupakan gudang amunisi firmware Nokia saya. Jadi semua firmware Nokia berkumpul dan tidur bersama di drive D:

Dan anda bisa merubah Path firmware ini melalui Panah drop down mobileEx untuk mengganti direktori ini. Setelah anda selesai meng-Add atau memasukkan direktori firmware Nokia, anda bisa meng-klik tombol OK dan restart mobileEx untuk memulai ulang mobileEx dan pengaturan anda. Namun saya lebih suka menutup program mobileEx dan memulai ulang dari awal untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi.

Setelah anda menjalankan ulang mobileEx pilih kembali Nokia Service Tool dan perhatikan hasilnya, pada saat awal Nokia Tool terbuka mobileEx akan terlihat seperti sedang melakukan flashing dengan berjalannya progress bar beberapa saat. Sedangkan Nokia Tool-Configuration sudah tidak mau muncul lagi karena pada adress path sudah otomatis ke C:

Dead USB flash via mxkey

Haven't bought HTIBox yet? No problem just forget it. Let's play ur MxKey

Now we gonna try to flash a NOKIA phone use this tool. So we need a USB cable and fully charged battery only. Let's try

1. Open mobileEx

2. Interface box select nokia usb rom, click connect

3. Fill at least a mcu firmware of problematic phones
4. Click bus check button, connect the USB cable to the phone, insert the battery into the phone and briefly press the phone on / off button

5. When the phone is connected properly to the mxkey after bus check the firmware to be disappear / blank on mxkey.
6. Refill the firmware by double-clicking on each column. This time must be filled to content firmware not only mcu firmware.  then click the flash button to start the process of flashing the phone. [ Read ASK and PM first before running flash ]

7. Back off the usb cable and battery from the phone, after you click the flash plug the usb cable back on the phone, insert the battery and briefly press the on / off button on the phone.

8. Wait for the flashing process is complete and the last mxkey boots to the phone and read through the information to your new phone's firmware.

9. Click disconnect to end
