MX Key: Application Error on Windows 8

If you gotten this error report window on your Windows 8 at the first time running MX Key on it, this could be a simple reason to resolving that trouble.

The window error report will says : The Smart card resource manager is not running

Q: did you install smart card driver, this should be a 32bit or 64bit ROCKEY driver ?

A: Yes

Q: Do you restart your system when driver already installed ?

A: NO

OK this could be the error report comes to your desktop, then how to fix ?

1. Leave your MX Key connected to PC

2. Restart your PC, next PC will recognize your new hardware.

3. Run mobileEx.exe.

4. At the very first use it needs to Sign Application first to create correct hardware registry on your system. And its also will check your software need to upgrade and or repair [ Online ]

5. Hit OK on MX Key error window and next hit Sign Application

6. Next to do is hit Synchronize Files to check update available for all modul and NK.mx files

7. Hit Update on MX Key Update Sync dialog box, and wait all finished [ that's why should be online ]

8. After all have finish, hit YES on Confirmation dialog window to restart MX Key after upgrade

9. Now time to taste your working MX Key with all new features on modul

Download NOKIA Firmware [ Tricks ]

Seperti pada umumnya, file firmware akan sangat diperlukah untuk menjalankan proses flashing dalam rangka perbaikan perangkat telefon selular. Selama ini saya memakai sejumlah software tambahan untuk memperoleh firmware. Software tambahan tersebut misalnya; NaviFirm plus saya pergunakan karena lebih simpel dan cepat untuk mendapatkan firmware, tanpa harus punya box flasher sekalipun. Namun dengan tidak dibukanya lagi server Nokia Care untuk software fihak ketiga ini, maka timbul masalah baru untuk memperoleh firmware. Namun kita masih bisa menggunakan beberapa software tertentu untuk melakukan download firmware NOKIA. Diantaranya Nokia Data Package Manager dan Nokia Care Suite. Kali ini saya akan membahas tentang Nokia Care Suite, sebab saya pernah membuat tulisan mengenai Nokia Data Package Manager.

Berikut yang perlu dipersiapkan:

1. NOKIA CARE SUITE PST 5.0 2013 1.3.4 [ versi terakhir ] silakan gugling untuk memperolehnya.

2. File configuration.cfg yang dapat di download DISINI.

Instalasi dan Penggunaan NOKIA CARE SUITE PST 5.0 2013 1.3.4

1. Setelah anda mendownload NCS Pst 5.0, instal program tersebut seperti biasa. [ Ada baiknya pada komputer yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses instalasi program-program perbaikan ponsel, telah terinstal MS NETFramework setidaknya sampai versi netframework 3.5 ]

2. Setelah terinstal dikomputer, untuk sementara jangan menjalankan dulu NCS.

3. Copy paste-kan file configuration.cfg hasil download anda ke folder instalasi NCS di C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Care Suite\Product Support Tool For Store 5.0. Fungsi file configuration.cfg adalah untuk memudahkan kita saat mendownload tanpa harus memasukkan username dan password Sign in. Pilih Copy and Replace untuk mengganti file aslinya.

4. Berikutnya Jalankan NCS yang telah termodifikasi. Pada menu Applications klik ganda Product Support Tool For Store 5.0

5. Pada jendela selanjutnya tak perlu melakukan perubahan apapun, langsung klik Sign in

6. Selanjutnya Tab Tool dan klik Firmware Download.

7. Ketik Product code ponsel yang terdapat di label box baterai. Bila anda inginkan firmware yang lengkap centang [v] Optional Content Files, selanjutnya klik Check Online.

8. Firmware yang anda inginkan akan muncul dengan keteranga ukuran firmware sederhana dan versi lengkap. Selanjutnya klik Download dan tutup jendela Firmware Download.

9. Anda dapat merubah tempat parkir firmware yang anda download atau membiarkannya tetap sesuai default-nya.

10. Setelah semua ter-download anda bisa menemukannya di folder penyimpananya.

Mungkin dengan hanya membaca tulisan saya ini akan membuat anda bingung, namun sebenarnya tidaklah serumit perkiraan anda. Terasa sulit karena anda belum meng-instal dan menjalankannya sendiri. Walaupun memang lebih mudah men-download melalui Nokia Data Package Manager.

SonyEricsson K618 HDR block not accepted,error: 19 [setool2g]

To prevent you got message HDR block not accepted,error: 19 on setool2g when try to flashing every old sony ericsson products, you should to know some actions.

- Make sure phone and cable connection both are good.

- The battery power at least have 60%

- Choose correct firmware for each phone

The phone i have the trouble because of my friend trying to fix phone GDFS, and he change phone firmware into sony ericsson K610 firmware. These could be the problems.

When i try to fix it back to using K618 firmware its failed. Now try to read an easy step to make the phone work again even it uses K610 firmware. 

[*] on setool2g go to tab settings, make little change there.

[*] Back to tab SonyEricsson. Add the firmwares of K610 then hit Flash.

[*] After Flash finish perform Unlock/Repair. Next hit Identify to check the phone.

[*] Identify will see the phone if it works again.

Phone Restricted could be happen about wrong firmware has choose on flashing. Can it fix by software..?

Yes absolutely. Let's fix it

- Before flashing any phone you better save each data can be readout from the phone even it completely dead.

- Install first firmware need.

- Go to C: \Program Files\Nokia\CDMA\nfp folder. Open nfp folder then extract a file with .nfp extention, now you will got correct firmware to flash to phone.

- Open UFS DCTxBB5

- Fill MCU with file.nep, PPM with file.llp, and CNT with file.ucp_x

- Connect phone and hit Check, if you can't boot the phone please press phone power button

- Now get Info from phone, if ESN still stay there you're very lucky. 'cause it will not takes to long.

- Next save PM file to make phone back to mode when gathering nothing on repair

- Check again MCU,PPM, and so CNT before perform flashing. If all OK now hit Write Flash

- After flash complete now time to write PM, give it fresh PM. You can use other same PM from other normal phone and same model. And hit Wr PM

- Next do UI Settings by hit on its button

OK now everything has just finished

UFS+HWK New Update and How To UPGRADE [ version 2.3.0.0/ 22july2013 ]

Good news, has released on july 22 2013 the new version of HWK update client for upgrading our UFSx box + HWK. By this release now we can't download separately the setup files from saruna. All task to upgrade are using online method. That may could a trouble for the reason of bad quality of internet connection. I recommend you to using a cable connection, don't use a wireless connection. Except you pay for the best wireless connection. If you have bad as mine better using cable connection and it work fo' me. I wont say anything 'bout sarassoft new server, because it work very good. Don't forget to kill your anti virus 'till all process finished and hwk ready to use. For professional advance user it would be not so hard. But for us the newbies it will confusing when trouble comes. But don't worry, i will let you know how to do. LET's DO IT. Don't forget to uninstall old version, you can do it by Start menu or Control Panel.

Step 1:

We need a new hwk support suite setup, but we can't go to the sarunasoft support when still running old version 2.2.0.0

To resolving that i would like to help you all the ufs HWK users whose don't has it already.

Step 2:

Extract what you've download and run it as admin if you running Windows 7 or just double click it on Windows XP. It will create a desktop icon name USF_Panel, connect UFS to PC and run it to start.

Step 3:

Once its open you'll face a new upgrade wizard UI. If you do step 2 as wrote, it will detect your UFS on Hardware tab.

Step 4:

On Hardware first click Check Box, it will reads your box id and serial. Again i'm warn you to establish a good internet connection because it will takes over an hour to complete all sessions.

Step 5:

Next click on Update Box button to start upgrading our HWK. Remember this will only upgrading HWK, if it successfully you still can't go to support saruna software. Because it doesn't have Support button like the older.

Step 6: 

Now Tab Software, click Check Server to checkout how many files need to fix on upgrading. All need to upgrade will checked if you an advance user you can uncheck some you don't want. But if you're a new left them like it use to be, don't make any change.

Step 7: 

If there is no problem you can straight to update by clicking Install button. When show error on Install don't be panic. Back to tab Hardware again and back to click Check Box. Then You can go back to tab Software and re-click Check Server and next click on Install.

Step 8:

After click Install it start to upgrade your HWK. Wait and see, at some reasons i recommend you to kill your anti virus. Some files caught as virus by my MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIAL. So it will bothering too much on upgrade process. The upgrade will start to download and install UFS Sams, UFS LGGsm, UFS DCTxBB5 and the last UFS SEDBx. If you not make any change it will create desktop icon for all, so it will useful for check the process failed or succeed.

Step 9:

The left over files failed to upgrade would be stay check marked.

Step 10:

To resolving that you need to perform clicking Install button again. If it wasn't work you don't need to be panic or event hang up. There will be some UFS shortcut icon on the desktop, you can minimize wizard and try UFS DCTxBB5 to proof it failed. And don't gave up if Install process still failed.

Step 11:

To resolving this, then get back upgrade wizard to desktop, back to tab Hardware and Check Box again. You can check how many files exactly left caused upgrade failed.

Step 12:

Next Tab Software again and do Check Server first then click Install. And see below this call succeed.

Step13: 

Once all has finished don't forget to copy sam_DHT so you can run UFS_SAMs and sure to flashing SAMSUNG ANDROID,unlock bootloader and more using THE SUPER MAGIC UFS TORNADO with HWK. Now try to run UFS DCTxBB5 to check what changed.

Don't forget to go to support area to download of what you need there. Now it becomes more powerful. Hopes it will beat MXBOX on the next update and it is reasonable.
