What's IMEI ?

Could You make a communication using your device without it ?

Simply IMEI is the soul of every phone device all over the world, without this you can't make any communication. 

For China phones devices it is very-very easy to repair IMEI of your Device, even it has multiple IMEI number. You can do it with non legal tool. It's so easy. But now i wanna show how to fix it using a legal tool called MCNPro Box the universal China phones flasher box.

The Steps below :

1. Run MCNPro Box.exe, on china phones has MTK/MT cpu based it will work fine through Rx Tx Scan method. But for others you need using USB Scan method [ it's little terrible to other cpu ]

2. Scan the device and hold power button or boot button [ sometimes need other as boot button ]

3. When scanning complete, Apply the result to the box by click Apply.

4. First at all try to read phone firmware for backup. Give it name for ex: something.BIN for the firmware. Next Backup NV Data, this is the most important to repair IMEI and save it as ex: something_NV.BIN

5. Now on the IMEI Options: click Read for the first IMEI number on the phone and next the second's.

6. Note: Please write on Notepad or on apiece of paper all IMEI number on the phone label. usually they typed on the label right on the phone battery case, so write 'em all.

7. Now go to Read/Write Flash: on the field click browse and find out your NV Data had backed up. This will really important to do repair IMEI. If you don't have that, the last 15 digits IMEI number won't automatically writen on the field.

8. Type both IMEI number to the fields of each. Next click Write to writing correct valid IMEI number to the device.

9. Compare your bad IMEI with the new just written. 

10. Proof it that the IMEI has correctly written without any mistakes by click Format Button on MCNPro Box. Then after formatting finish Read back the phone IMEI's.

11. Take a look at MCNPro result log, are they still there, if it's yes you're lucky one. You do the right job

And Now the phone is ready to communicate with it's friends around the country.

CROSS G10T Touchscreen Unsensitive

Tidak sensitifnya kinerja sebuah touchscreen tak selamanya diakibatkan oleh kerusakan hardware yang bernama touchscreen atau chip driver touchscreen sekalipun. Ada baiknya setiap kali menangani kerusakan ponsel terutama sekali pada ponsel produksi china, kita lakukan lebih dulu perbaikan software ponsel yang sedang bermasalah. Namun langkah awal untuk mengatur ulang kalibrati layar sentuh secara manual melalui setting ponsel adakalanya dapat membantu pula.

Apabila setting ulang kalibrasi layar sentuh tidak membuahkan hasil maka langkah berikutnya kita lakukan perbaikan software.

Pada kasus yang saya alami kali ini terjadi pada ponsel CROSS G10T yang merupakan generasi ponsel game dan multimedia.

Peralatan yang diperlukan cukup sebuah Box Flasher MCNPro saja tidak perlu memakai yang lebih canggih daripada box ini. Kabel Flash Nomor 30 akan kita gunakan untuk ponsel ini.

Mari kita lakukan perbaikan.

1. Jalankan MCNBox.exe untuk memulai.

2. Lakukan sedikit  perubahan pengaturan default pada saat program telah terbuka.

3. Ubah Speed Baudrate menjadi hanya 115200, kemudian klik tombol Usb Scan.

4. Langkah selanjutnya silakan lihat gambar dibawah ini.

5. Berdasar gambar diatas, setelah baudrate anda ubah kecepatan transfernya menjadi 115200 maka langkah selanjutnya tancapkan usb pada port ponsel. Kemudian berikan clamp power pada tap baterai ponsel. Pilih tipe kabel yang dipakai pada task 1 Select Cable, berikutnya klik tombol task 2 Holding...[ pada task 2 ini power ponsel tak perlu ditekan dan ditahan ].

Kemudian jalankan task 3 Switched On...[ pada saat anda klik tombol task 3 ini anda diharuskan untuk menekan dan menahan tombol Power On/Off/Boot pada ponsel sampai semua pin terdeteksi fungsi dan kegunaanya ]. Dan pada saat tersebut ponsel akan booting beberapa kali sesuai jumlah pin kabel yang digunakan, tetap tahan tombol Power/Boot ponsel sampai selesai.

6. Pada proses scanning USB pin tersebut akan muncul pula jendela permintaan untuk menekan tombol YES atau NO dengan memperhatikan indikator baterai pada layar HOME ponsel setiap kali ponsel BOOTING. Bila pada saat BOOTING pada layar ponsel indikator baterai berjalan seperti ketika anda melakukan cahrging baterai maka anda harus meng-klik tombol YES. Dan sebaliknya bila indikator baterai tidak bergerak maka klik tombol NO. Setelah selesai area Set Pinout akan berubah warna seperti gambar diatas.

7. Selanjutnya giliran melakukan scanning pinout terhadap port usb ponsel agar dapat mejalankan proses perbaikan ponsel. Klik Start atau tekan T dari keyboard PC anda untuk memulai, pada saat tersebut tekan dan tahan tombol BOOT ponsel sampai terdeteksi pinout port usb ponsel. Kemudian klik Apply atau dengan menekan tombol Y pada keyboard PC. Perhatikan taskbar anda yang memunculkan pemberitahuan USB anda.

8. Berikutnya sebelum anda memulai melakukan perbuatan tercela apapun,....oooo maaf maksud saya sebelum melakukan tindakan apapun terhadap ponsel maka selayaknya lakukan backup data-data penting ponsel yang diantaranya firmware dan lcd data apabila ponsel menggunakan layar sentuh sebagai interface-nya.

9. Pertama kali backup firmware ponsel dengan mengatur Read/Write Range pada Full Flash. Selanjutnya klik perintah READ dan tekan/tahan tombol BOOT ponsel sampai muncul perintah Release...

Perhatikan perubahan Bootloader yang sebelumnya tersetting default pada AUTO. Simpan Firmware hasil backup untuk tabungan anda.

10. Berikutnya backup juga NV Data ponsel.

11. Backup terakhir yang penting untuk dilakukan pada ponsel dengan layar sentuh adalah LCD DATA. Ubah perintah Read/Write Range menjadi Read LCD Data.

12. Setelah semua data firmware penting ter-backup, untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan sensitifitas layar sentuh cukup anda lakukan format ponsel saja agar ponsel kembali ke seeting default dan mengosongkan seluruh memory internal yang telah jenuh. Maka cukup klik perintah FORMAT.

13. Bila muncul peringatan FORMAT berbahaya klik saja YES, peringatan ini muncul agar anda mem-backup LCD DATA pada ponsel layar sentuh sebelum proses FORMAT dijalankan. Dan anda sudah mem-backup-nya sebelum diperintah.

14. Langkah terakhir bersifat opsional atau tidak harus, yakni meng-klik perintah UNLOCK. Perintah ini dapat mengembalikan default security code apabila sebelumnya USER telah merubah security code ponsel tersebut. Dan juga sebagai tambahan ilmu apabila anda tidak mengetahui security code chipset yang digunakan pada ponsel.

Dead phone flashing using McnPro Box. If you've checked the phone using DC PS before, it will seem like something trouble to the hardware. But if this happen to china phones you can forget for while to the hardware troubleshoot. Many china phones have the same specific detection on DC PS that seem a hardware trouble occur to the phone. When you pressed the power button on the phone DC PS A meter will go up, but when you release the power button the A meter will loss. On NOKIA phone or others i will say it completely the damage of power management chip. But not the same to china phone.

Now need to prepare the tools as

1. MCNPro Box [ better with the latest version ]

2. Cable No. 25

Steps:

1. Open MCnPro.exe to start

2. Do not make any change, let it by default settings

3. Plug Cable to the phone and so both power clam

4. Click Rx,Tx Scan then Apply to box

5. Click Open Folder Icon to fill the firmware you need. Give a tick on FFS_Format

6. Click Write button and press and hold phone power button

7. Wait until the flashing complete

8. Last step better to format and unlock, first after flashing done do Formatting file system then you can Unlock.

All Done

Q; Why should i perform formatting ?

A; Because i have flashed the phone using a backup firmware from other good phone. There may some files that not including in a new phone. So i don't need them to write too.

Read Flash Mstar via MCNPro [ ASIAFONE AF909 ]

More study, more trial, more trick those give us more benefits.

As preamble you read, today we gonna make a trial to push MCNPro Box to read phone info from a china smartphone product. Today we gonna try to read flash from dead phone ASIAFONE AF-909. It's look a china ANDROID smartphone with touchscreen.

Let's do it.

On the first try i'm completely can't touch the phone using MCNPro Box. The only reason is, there in MCNPro Driver folder don't have the newest Mstar USB driver. Most important to remember that some of mobile driver in MCNPro Mobile Driver haven't extracted. So you have them still in .rar archieves, extract them all to take effect. For best result you need to googling to find the newest china mobile USB driver by downloading it's mobile PCSuite and install it first to get the driver installed on your system. In many case the mobile driver has only INF file that can't use in windows 7. That means you need to copy and paste those drivers to mobile driver folder. If it doesn't give any result you can try to use my method by copy and paste the driver files to your system straightly. Copy and Paste the driver on windows 7 to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, this the nice trial. And i always lucky. Okay then we go to MCNPro.exe to run it.

1. Open your MCNPro Box, there is nothing to change on the first open of MCNPro.

By the picture above i give you an illustration step to do the job :

a. After MCNPro has opened, go to Usb Scan. Choose the cable you're using at the job. This example i'm using cable No. 30 because this is the compatible cable to the phone i handled.

b. By Pressing Power button on the phone click point No.2 to scanning the USB. If the driver has installed correctly you'll find some lights to Set Pinout box. But the pinouts not yet ready.

c. Then do step to pressing and holding the phone Power button then go click point No.3 Charge pin. In this step you'll find pop-up as much as USB pins in use. 

2. On the pop-up that show first time, exactly asking you to look at the phone display for every take effect. It will ask you about charging icon on the phone display for first time. Then you need to see to the phone display, if you see the charging icon on the display click YES option. After that will pop-up again asking that, normally after you click YES at the first it's won't show charging icon anymore, so you need to click NO to continue. For next pop-up click NO or you can see the display.

3. Next the pinout has just found. See the changing to the type of phone Chipset it will move from MTK to other, on this case it goes to Mstar. Now Press and Hold phone Power button and click Start, wait for moment for pinouts really detected and click Apply.

4. Once the pinouts Apply to box you can starting more further to phone. First before doing anything you better to READ Flash by click READ then press and hold the power button until it runs.

5. If READ can do correctly, save your flash file readout. 'Cause you can flash it to another phone in case bad software fixing.

6. By these simple steps exactly you could flashing Mstar chipset via MCNPro Box by now.

Lakukan update seperti biasa, dengan mengikuti perintah yang muncul pada setiap jendela baru. Yang perlu anda perhatikan adalah untuk USER dan SERIAL, jangan merubah keduanya. Jadi isikan pada form yang tersedia seperti ketika pertama kali anda melakukan instalasi MCN Pro Box. Bila anda ingin mengetahui versi update terbaru anda bisa masuk ke MCN BOX SUPPORT. Bila telah tersedia versi update terbaru silakan anda lakukan update menggunakan MCN UPDATER.
