Maybe unusual if your phone doesn't have your native language on the system, but it was not the reason why did i write this.
Exactly the phone is dead after it dives into the water and have short, the bad is its too late to fix, so its won't turn on when i have fixed the short.
Fortunately it still readout by SETool Box, then why i'm not make a change to the whole firmware in one step. Fix the phone and give its my native language to the phone's system.
Lets do it.
1. Open setool2g, if it becomes the first time to run it, you better to see device manager for the right COM interface for your SETool Box. See the picture below how to find it in device manager and make it has right COM interface. Change COM interface as device manager show on Ports COM & LPTI
setting : [v] Customize...
2. Press Identify
3. Actually the phones comes from TAIWAN that way it has no my native language, now i fix the phone and make a change for the lang pack
4. Press Add to open firmwares need to write to the phone, choose for your own lang pack. This only an example.
5. Now it [setool] has right firmwares, next press Flash
6. Watch and wait until its finish the job
7. OK well perform, and now you have brand new old phone
